FAN CLUB
I am SO grateful for the growing number of people who are connecting to my music and show! I'm even more amazed at the friends and fans who offer to go above and beyond and help me accomplish my goals. These super-committed fans make a big difference in my overall success. I often get asked "What can I do as a music lover to help you, Jonny, move forward?"
Here are some ideas:
Come to the Shows! Seems obvious, but the first and foremost thing fans can do is to attend my concerts. My success depends on my ability to draw well at the venues. Even a handful of loud and enthusiastic fans is better than a roomful of quiet and sedate ones!
Buy the CD or downloads and listen to the music! The better you know the music the more fun we all have! It especially helps to request the CD at your local retail store--it keeps them aware of my existence!
Buy the MERCH! T-shirts and stickers are a great way to get the name out there. It also helps me and the band stay afloat financially.
Get to Know Other Fans! It's always been my hope that a creative community of like-minded people would grow up around our band. You can help that to happen by building friendships with people you meet at the shows or on our Facebook and Myspace pages.
Help Me Get Radio Play! This one is HUGE! It makes all the difference in the world to the DJ's to know that requests are coming in for my music. Tune into the stations that play JB and let them know how much you appreciate their support of the band.
Help Generate Web Traffic! Use e-mails, blogs, social networking, links, etc. to help me get people to my website (but please don't spam). Visit the sites that mention me or our links and let them know you are into the band!
Vote For Me! Keep an eye out for "best of" competitions or online voting and make your voice heard!
Help Me Find Music Industry Leads. Everyone knows of someone who is associated with the music industry in some way...an acquaintance who plays in a band, works at a venue/record store/radio station/newspaper or some other music related connection. Help me hook up! You never know where things can lead!
Share Your Thoughts! It's often really hard for me to have a clear perspective on all that's happening. Constructive criticism is always welcome! Feel free to e-mail me with any ideas.

- Help flyer for upcoming shows
- Hang posters for upcoming shows
- E-mail friends and social media about shows and new releases
- Develop your own fan club
And lastly, support other musicians too! There's a lot of great music out there and musicians struggling to keep their art alive. When one band does well it helps all of us. We're all on the same team.
